The Garden goes to school

Πηγή: Bored Panda

On the 11th of February, the Garden participated in the presentation of the educational material “Living with the Climate Crisis”, that has been prepared for psychotherapists and educators from all over the world, who wish to work in groups with a focus on climate crisis. The material has been prepared by the Climate Psychology Alliance and more specifically by the Carbon Conversations group.

Aim of the programme is to offer a context for processing the emotions and thoughts born by climate change, while at the same seeking to motivate people who care to transform emotion into conscious action. The approach adopted is experiential – because we learn by doing – and is comprised of three units:

  • 1st part: our common roots
  • 2nd part: communication
  • 3rd part: ecosystems of change

For the time being, the material is still being worked on, but we would like to share it with you, organising a first presentation meeting in the coming future. If you are interested, please contact us at info@kipos.org.gr. Participation is for free.

(Also, in case you are interested in the “Carbon Conversations” – an issue that is always relevant – you can find the materials here: http://www.carbonconversations.co.uk/p/materials.html)
